Overview

The purpose of this job is to operate under the guidance of Senior and Lead Computer Operators in order to supervise/operate software and hardware according to pre-set instructions.

 

**This position may be filled as a level I, II, or III based on additional experience and qualifications required.**

 

    Working Hours: 7 am - 7 pm | 3 days per week (rotating)

Responsibilities

  • Monitor nightly batch processing for all applications
  • Use CONTROLM to manipulate processing as requested
  • Monitor ATM and communicate with vendor via ticketing system when issues arise
  • Monitor file transfer system
  • Monitor computer room and escalate issues as required
  • Learn nightly application balancing process
  • Learn Service Now ticketing system
  • Respond to password reset requests
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school education
  • Makes rational and timely judgements based on information including relationships, patterns, causes and effects.
  • Customer service
  • Uses various hardware and software programs as required. Microsoft Office
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Operates by and adheres to a situation-appropriate and effective set of core values and beliefs.

Additional qualifications required for Level II:

  • 3+ Years operations experience

Additional qualifications required for Level III:

  • 5+ Years operations experience

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • 12-hour shifts
  • Sit for extended amount of time

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:  Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
