Overview

The responsibility of the job is to provide support to the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) area and all users of the systems including but not limited to maintenance of  system security roles, support and configuration of  Payroll,  Time and Labor, Absence Management, Benefits and Core HR, Applicant Tracking System, Learning Management System, liaison between HR and Information Technology (IT), query and reporting creation and support, form creation and support, providing front line customer service support to HR, all in an effort to enhance HR’s ability to demonstrate HR systems for the maximum benefit to all users, in order to gain efficiency and accuracy within the HR department.

 

Responsibilities

  • Configure, test, and implement changes or improvements on Human Capital Management (HCM) System (Security, Payroll, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Core HR, Benefits, Forms and General Ledger), Applicant Tracking, Talent Management System (Learning, Development, Performance and Succession), ServiceNow, Microsoft 365 Products, and OrgPublisher
  • Write and extract data using basic queries for HR and Managers throughout the company
  • Provide support to associates on the systems supported by HRIS
  • Support the HR Department with all Trustmark systems
  • Analyze and provide solutions to issues
  • Serve as Liaison between HR and IT
  • Maintain the Human Resources web page on the TRIP Web Portal
  • Maintain the Organizational Chart and provide reports to Management and Regulatory organizations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Technology or other relevant degree(s)
  • 2+ years of system admin experience which includes support, configuration, testing of system updates/patches, and the ability to write queries
  • General understanding of processes in the HR area which require system configuration
  • Ability to conduct analysis using math and accounting concepts
  • Prior experience with the installation process of system upgrades
  • Must be able to always exercise confidentiality
  • Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects
  • Must be detail oriented with strong critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Ability to perform routine check and balance reconciliation as well as detailed data validation
  • Prior knowledge of Trustmark’s organizational structure preferred
  • HTML knowledge preferred
  • Prior experience with HR software which is currently used by Trustmark preferred

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
