Mortgage Loan Processing Manager

The purpose of this job is to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Mortgage Loan Central Processing Department.

• Cross-train, lead and develop team of associates to promote maximum productivity, engagement, succession planning and overall contribution to the strategic organizational goals.
• Directly manage processing function monitoring file status to ensure timely and correct processing.
• Train processors on new products, procedures, investor guidelines, etc.
• Process and Close Assumptions and CP Modifications.
• Track service performance of processors by working closely with Sales Manager and Originators to ensure quality service.
• Problem resolution on files in process with Originators, Realtors, Underwriters, and clients.
• Develop and enhance Processing Departments processes and procedures to ensure efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Junior college/two-year college training or related work experience
• 5 years of Mortgage Processing experience required
• Knowledge of mortgage lending, including loan processing and originating
• Thorough understanding of employee coaching techniques
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to efficiently handle workflows
• Ability to communicate will with clients and people at all levels of the organization
• Ability to manage, train and motivate team members
• Strong customer service skills
• Supervisory experience preferred

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:  Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
