The major responsibilities of this position is to partner with the internal business units for their Procurement/Sourcing activities and vendor contracts.
Responsibilities
Partner with business unit leaders to identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives and efficiencies
Manage vendor relationships and contracts for internal business units
Lead contract negotiations with diplomacy and engage appropriate corporate partners
Conduct vendor evaluations, e.g., potential new vendors, evaluating contracts.
Manage multiple work streams simultaneously
Collaborate effectively across departments to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
4-year bachelors in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Management or Supply Chain or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Procurement or Supply Chain
Demonstrated problem-solving skills
Demonstrated negotiation skills
Display a strong sense of ownership and a drive for achieving results
The ability to complete tasks with accuracy, thorough attention to detail with consistency
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Able to work and analyze large amounts of information
Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to think objectively
Independent thinker and ability to work in at team environment
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
