  • Overview

    The purpose of this job is to aid and assist agency personnel in a variety of administrative support tasks.


    • Assists in processing of claims, insurance policies and other insurance work on an as needed basis.
    • Performs duties for general administrative support for Agency operations including but not limited to back up receptionist, mailroom operator and/or file clerk.
    • Assists as needed in data entry into Agency Management System
    • Assists in compiling submissions or presentation material to customers or carrier to include drafting of correspondence as directed
    • Performs such other tasks as directed


    • High School Diploma
    • Previous insurance company or agency experience preferred
    • College degree preferred
    • Knowledge of alphabet and numeric sequences
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word
    • Working knowledge of Internet
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    • Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism.
    • Must be friendly, organized, and enjoy dealing with people
