  • Overview

    The purpose of this job is to support the Wealth Management Firm Operations Manager in the functions of operating the trust system platform and its integrated systems. The job will also require the input and monitoring of directed transactions in client accounts and fulfilling their settlement between the transacting parties. The job will also act as a primary call center contact and fulfillment for client and internal inquiries regarding any of the firm’s operations functions.

    Responsibilities

    • Capture, validate and enter into the operating platform transactions directed by clients or their designated managers and monitor/repair those transactions through successful settlement. Maintain and communicate accurate transaction process instructions and methods with parties directing transactions.
    • Receive client and/or internal inquiries through the call center or central E-mail box and take actions to fulfill requested needs or properly escalate those inquiries to managers if necessary.
    • Support the Wealth Management Firm Operations Manager as assigned and requested with the functions of operating the trust system platform and its integrated systems. 

    Qualifications

    • Working knowledge of numerous security characteristics and the industry practices regarding transactions, custody, transfers, and settlement.

    Degree:

    • High School Degree plus 10 years of experience in a Trust company, or securities industry related business, especially involving transaction capture and settlement; or           
    • Technical/Vocational School plus 4 years of experience in a Trust company, or securities industry related business, especially involving transaction capture and settlement; or
    • Associates Degree in business related field plus 3 years of experience in a Trust company, or securities industry related business, especially involving transaction capture and settlement; or
    • Bachelor’s Degree in business related field plus 1 year of experience in a Trust company, or securities industry related business, especially involving transaction capture and settlement; or
    • Bachelor's Degree plus 2 years of experience in a Trust company, or securities industry related business, especially involving transaction capture and settlement.

    Preferred Certificates:

    • Past attainment of a FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, etc.
    • Certified Securities Operations Professional (CSOP”)
