  • Overview

    The purpose of this job is to develop and execute the implementation and operation of the enterprise wide business intelligence and analytic software solutions (Hyperion, OBI, and ERP). This position will be responsible for integrating data from various Trustmark systems in order to provide one centralized unit for business intelligence data extraction and reporting. It is also responsible for providing end users with robust financial reporting output and distribution that meets organizational objectives for key business partners (CFO, Controller, Divisional CFO, other executives) while ensuring data integrity. This role will assist the manager in determining future trends, concepts, and technologies that will be required to deliver the data necessary for profitable financial decision making across the enterprise.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for using knowledge and experience with Accounting and Finance principals to provide expert level support for the following systems:
      • PeopleSoft FSCM Rel 9.1suite of products, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Management, Project Costing, Supplier Contract Management, eProcurement, Purchasing, Travel and Expenses
      • Hyperion Planning and Budgeting, Forecasting, Workforce Planning, CapEx, Data Relationship Management, and Hyperion Profitability and Cost Management
      • Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition, web-based dashboard reporting and analytics
    • In order to deliver and use the data necessary to drive profitable decision making at all applicable levels within the enterprise. Provide ongoing support within the organization as it relates to various data management issues through troubleshooting and problem resolution activity.
    • Provide project management support as it relates to working with vendors/contractors in order to implement new projects and maintain existing operations in an orderly manner.
    • Work with multiple system support team members (IT, Treasury, Credit, HRIS, etc.) in order to provide source data used for designated centralized output for ultimate end user needs (loan/deposit pricing, ALCO Modeling, profitability analysis, budget analysis).
    • Use knowledge and undertanding of future trends, concepts, and technologies in order to assist the manager in providng strategic directions for future deliverables with the goal of continuous improvement to existing operations. Use learnings to prioritize and implement the latest best practice solutions.
    • Perform ongoing end user training as well as developing the most effective forum for an end user training process. (i.e. live and/or recorded WebEx’s, training guides, or User Productivity Kit).
    • Establish and maintain documented system procedures in order to ensure consistency and cross-training as it relates to the population and extraction of data from various systems.

    Qualifications

    • Intermediate knowledge of Hyperion Essbase and reporting tools
    • Intermediate knowledge of PeopleSoft FSCM Rel 9.1suite of products including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Asset Management, Project Costing, Supplier Contract Management, eProcurement, Purchasing, and Travel and Expenses
    • Intermediate knowledge/Understanding of Oracle Business Intelligence products and how to develop dashboard reporting
    • Intermediate knowledge of Financial Principles and Practices
    • Proven project Management expertise preferred
    • Working knowledge of banking organizational structure and financial data sources
    • Ability to think strategically in order to achieve short term and long term goals
    • Ability to predict, analyze and manage cultural and technological changes within the organization
    • Intermediate customer service skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Intermediate organizational and time management skills needed particularly during the implementation of systems
    • Ability to forge strong partnerships with business partners and internal customers
    • Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality results under pressure
    • Proven project management skills

    • Intermediate Excel (Test)
    • BBA with finance focus required
    • MBA with finance focus preferred or equivalent work experience
    • 3 years of Corporate Finance, with internal reporting, budgeting, and profitability reporting experience
    • 1 year of project management, operations manager, and supervisor experience preferred
    • 3 years of PeopleSoft FSCM Rel 9.1experience preferred
    • 3 years of Hyperion Essbase experience preferred
    • Banking experience preferred
