The purpose of this job is to service clients and carriers, aid Producers in handling accounts and meet service and sales delivery standards.
Responsible for the marketing process for prospects and clients which includes obtaining client census and quotes from carriers along with creating proposals and presentation materials
Prepare materials for client meetings including but not limited to agendas, reports, calendars
Responsible for acting as a liason between clients and insurance carriers or other vendors. Provide resolution support for claim and billing issues for clients.
Monthly invoicing of all employee benefit commissions for all EB Producers and House Accounts- reconciling with Accounting department to ensure balancing and 100% reconciliation
Receive phone calls/emails/faxes from clients, insurance carriers, and other vendors and comply in a timely manner with requests. Answer phones for department and dispense calls.
Responsible for preparing and managing all paperwork related to new and renewal submissions and delivering timely to the insurance carrier. Following up with the carrier to ensure paperwork is being processed. Ensuring the clients receive all the materials they require, such as employee ID cards.
Enter and manage client information using the Fisher Brown Bottrell agency management system

Must have general knowledge of employee benefits and/or customer service
Must be able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure,
Must have good communication skills both oral and written
Must be efficient in prioritizing work and manage multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
Enthusiastic attitude, adaptability to new or changing circumstances and comfort working in a team environment
High school diploma or equivalent / College degree preferred
1 year experience in employee benefits industry or human resources preferred
Licensed Life/Health & Accident preferred or be able to obtain within 90 days of placement in position
